How can you tell the difference between a cold sore and a zit?
-
my friend said she thinks i have a cold sore on my lip but i'm pretty sure i don't. like a month or two ago, i plucked a hair off of the top of my lip and this little black dot appeared like a blackhead was growing or something. it never went away so a few days ago i was picking at it to try to get the black stuff out but it wouldn't come. it got a little pus in it so i squeezed that out and now there's a scab there. it tingles a bit, so that's apparently why she thinks its a cold sore. does that make sense? how do u tell the difference?

Answer:
A cold sore is more blistery, and then crusty you obviously had a black head that got infected. Use a hot compress to try to draw it out - a lot of compression and warmth and a deep heating mask should do it.
