Acne on face,, which is better?

Lemon juice might help but if your skin is sensitive it might make it peel. The only thing I have found that works at all for me is tanning. In moderation (meaning I go once a week for about 6-7 minutes) UV rays are proven to improve acne. Some disclaimers!!! 1. People always say tanning can cause skin caner but if you don't overdo it, it can be really beneficial. Its the most natural source of vitamin D and it can really help with your acne. We wouldnt have evolved to turn sun into vitamin D if we wern't meant to get some sun!!! 2. Since tanning adds extra sun to your life, I always put SPF lotion on when I go outside. It helps me control how much sun I'm getting in order to prevent any harmful effects. Hope this helps!!!!

Neither! Lemon juice is really acidic and people say to leave it on the skin to lighten the tone. Worst case scenario, the harsh acids may further irritate your skin and cause greater acne. Olive oil is a bad idea also because it can clog your pores, causing more acne. Olive oil is good for very dry (and tolerant) skin. If you want to do a mask I would recommend honey or kaolin clay. Honey is both a natural humectant and antibacterial. So it will moisturize your skin and help with any bacteria that cause acne. Kaolin clay is a very effective and gentle way to purify since it will pull out any impurities that could cause acne. It can even clear up existing pimples and blackheads.
