What to do about an infected blister?

Is my foot blister infected?

  • hi i never pop my blisters but a i have 2 blisters next to each other.. one of them looks like its filled with clear liquid.... the other looks darker but when i press on it it hurts... i dont want to pop it because it could get infected but i dont know if its already infected since on the top right corner of the blister it is red.... should i pop it or give it more time?.... i think ive had the blister for a week or two already.

  • Answer:

It sounds like dyshidrotic exzema. Neosporin will take care of a secondary infection from it.
