Answer:
The rule of thumb is to only use a face wash that is right for your skin type. If you use a face wash that strips away your natural oils, you skin will be like, "Hey! I was using that to protect your face!" and it will respond by way of sending out more oil to make up for lost moisture and the imbalance that was caused. All that being said, it's best to use a face wash that is good for your skin type. "Combination" skin or "normal" skin have fairly dry (but not too dry) cheek areas and a slightly oilier T-zone area (forehead, nose and chin). A dry complexion is just that, dry, and an oily complexion is just that, oily (like the complexion your face wash is meant for that you don't seem to have). ;) Here's what you do: 1) Don't panic. 2) Allow your skin chemistry to get back to it's normal balance by washing with just cold water for the first couple of days. It may get a little greasy, but it's necessary to let the balance return to your skin. 3) Get the correct face wash for your skin type and use only those meant for your skin type from here on out! If you only ever get the occasional blemish, you can purchase a spot-treatment or, you can do like I do ('cause I have the same skin type as you) and use a minty toothpaste (paste version- not gel) on the pimples. I just put it directly on the spot, wait for the paste to dry, then wipe off. This dries out just the pimple skin and basically squeezes out the goo so you don't scar your face with your fingers doing the job. The pimple is gone usually the next day if it's nothing major. If it's a big fat one it should be gone within 3 days if you do the toothpaste trick every night before bed. (I did this the day before my wedding and I was spot-free!) Hope this helps! Good luck!

It possibly could be, but it may just not be for your skin type. If you dont have acne, its best to use a gentle face wash. I also use neutrogena. I use a gentle face wash and it is orange i forget what it is called. I would also recommend equates gentle skin cleanser.it comes in a white bottle with a blue cap. I hope this helped! :)
