How can I get rid of my stye/sty?

  • I have got a stye/sty on my left eyelid and it's in my top right close to my nose. How can i get rid of it. I need it gone by 5th January. If I leave it to go in it's own time , how long will that take. I have been to the doctor and he didn't think that i should worry and that I should just get some eye drops but the pharmacistt said leave it alone. So please help I need them answers asap.     You need to go to drug store and get some stye cream. It is in a little tube. If you do not take care of it you could get it in your other eye.

you can have it surgically removed, i've had it done. OR get a washcloth fill it with warm water, and compress it onto your stye.

take a soft wash cloth and soak it in water then squeeze out the excess...fold into fourths...microwave for 15 seconds at a time until it is hot but not too hot to burn your skin and apply to your sty...do this as often as you can the key is warm, moist heat and if you don't have a microwave then run the cloth under hot water remember to get it as hot as you can stand WITHOUT burning your skin
