Why do mosquito bites itch so bad?

Why do mosquito bites itch?

  • And also why do they itch even more when you itch em?? Any itching creams that work well or home remedies?? Thank you :)

  • Answer:

A mosquito bite is an irritation of the skin and it is you bodies way of telling you you have a mosquito bite. Also it itches even more when you scratch them because you are irritating it some more causing your nerves to send more signals to the brain telling you that you that there is an irritation. I guess normal anti-itch should do fine.
