Does Acnefree Severe work better than the regular Acnefree?

Does this AcneFree stuff actually work?

  • Hi I've been dealing with acne for quite sometime, and I most definitely get it on my back. I'm 14 and I've tried a bunch of products like clean and clear, biore, neutrogena, etc. But recently I just bought the AcneFree Severe System kit that comes with a wash, toner, lotion, retinol, and a thing thats called Terminator 10 that should be like benzoyl proxide. Anyways, so I've given it maybe like 4 days using day and night as it instructs but all it has given me is dried out irritated skin in splotches on my face. It feels like I have a sunburn on my face.. It really has lowered my self esteem, and I just give up on things now. I don't know if I should wait or give up on this product....? If someone had the same deal as me, please share your experience and advice because I just don't know what to do!

  • Answer:

Hello, I used AcneFree and I didn't have those problems with it. It may just be your skin. It worked a little bit but not enough for me to stick to it. I use Max Clarity Foam and acne stuff from Clean and Clear. I mix it up to like for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday I use the Max Clarity Foam and the other days I use the clean and clear stuff and my face has cleared up very quickly. I would save the trouble and just ditch the AcneFree and get the clean and clear acne stuff they have a bunch of stuff for acne that's worked for me.
