Need to clear up acne fast PLEASe HELP 10 PTS?

  • I have 4 days until our school dance. i have been on retin a for a little over 3 months and im still not clear. far less acne but im sticking it out until i see the reults i want. me and my girlfriend are very sexually active, and i noticed that when im away from her for a few days and i dont masturbate my acne really clears up. so do you think that could be a cause of my acne is masturbation. also what regimen should i use the next night and what should my diet be. i stopped using my 10% benzoyl peroxide wash in the day and went down to a 2.5% salcytic acid wash and then cetaphil in the mid day and at night 25 minutes beofre retin a goes on. HELP me i need to clear up quick

It's hard to get a quick fix for acne, but I recommend drinking ONLY water for the next 4 days - avoid soft drink and super sugary stuff for the whole time if you can (also avoid alcohol, but perhaps you already do with your medication). Acne is generally caused by increase in testosterone, which you are producing when you are sexually active (this includes masturbation). Eat foods like avocado, strawberries, blackberries, nuts and banana as they contain nutrients that are beneficial for the skin. Spend some time outdoors in the sun (if you can!) as UV rays kill harmful bacteria. Sleep on a clean pillowcase every night! This will avoid future break outs. Most of all just keep your skin clean at all times and don't touch your face. Hope this helps.
