Does consuming whey protein cause acne effects?

So about 2 months ago I started drinking whey protein shakes for my work outs. It was not until a week ago however that I started to notice an increase of about 40% of acne on my face. The protein that I drink is called Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60™ bought directly from GNC. I do not know if the protein is causing the acne because many of my friends take the same protein and they don't have any problems. I even asked at the GNC pharmacy and they told me that it shouldn't be causing any acne. However I read online and found that some protein can cause acne problems. I am just wondering if any of you think or know if this particular product could be the cause of my acne. And if it is, then what other product would you recommend that doesn't cause this problem. I appreciate some answers.

Omg do not do that..I think it's too late to be honest. That causes severe outbreaks the further it is used creating humongous puss pockets, very toxic and gross smelling
