I have small, red, itchy bumps on my arms? Help.

Can somebody PLEASE help me identify these bumps on my arms?

  • Okay so for about a year now, i have had these tiny little bumps on my arm. i didnt really mind them until now, people are starting to notice it and think its kind of nasty. Here is my best description of it: My sister refers to it as "brail" on my arm because the bumps are about the size of brail that blind people read with. THESE BUMPS DO NOT ITCH! and they have never itched before. All the bumps are like the color of my skin but a little darker. Except one of them is kind of red because i tried to pick it off. My mom has picked up a lot of cream to try and make it go away but nothing has worked. These bumps are below and above the crease of my arm where i bend it with my elbow. MY BEST DESCRIPTION FOR THESE BUMPS IS THAT THEY LOOK LIKE PIMPLES ON MY ARMS. Please somebody help me identify what this is! THANKS EVERYONE and my skin does get very dry in the winter

  • Answer:

These are blocked hair follicles on your arms - 90% of people have them - they are nothing to worry about - i have them too. The best thing to help smooth them is to use a body exfoliator in the shower daily and gently rub it over your arms. But dont worry - nothing serious.
