How can I heal swollen and irritated eyelid?
-
A month ago, I tried an eyeliner from L'oreal, and the next day, my left eyelid would be red and really puffy. The eye isn't affected. Since then, the inner corner of my upper eyelid have a small patch of dry and flaky skin. The skin right above the lashline stays swollen/puffy. My left eye is originally double-lidded, and now the line went higher, making my eyes seem like they're in between double and mono -lidded. My right is a double-eyelid as well, but the line is closer downward to the lashline. So, basically, when you look at me, my eyes look very uneven. -------------------------- Last night, I noticed that I've been unconsciously rubbing/scratching my eye. So, this morning, I noticed that the inner corner is all red and dry, and so is the outter edge of my eye. I applied a light moisturizer on my whole eyelid, and the affected area began to sting a bit; like a sunburn feeling. When you look at it; it looks wrinkly... which is kinda ugly since I'm only 14. And since it also kinda folds inward, the eyelash would poke my eye, which is very irritating. I've been wearing Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips- eyeliner and mascara (they're hypoallergenic). I think the glitter might have also contribute to the problem;; I'm not sure though. But when I apply them, I keep them away from the inner corner, where it's mainly affected. I think another problem is that, I probably didn't wash off my makeup completely and there are probably little bit of makeup left. To wash off my eye makeup, I would usually use a cotton pad dipped in extra virgin olive oil, then gently wash it off. Help please? thanks!

Answer:
Hi There, complementary color on the opposite side of the color wheel from gray to make your eyes pop out. Deep browns and purple would work well. Consider your skin tone. A lighter skin tone should have an eyeshadow that is lighter in tone, while darker skin needs an eyeshadow of similar tone. For example, if you are light skinned with gray eyes, choose a light purple or light brown.
