What acne medication will help me the best?

My acne is getting worse on medication?? Help!?

  • For the past three weeks, I've been using an 8% benzoyl peroxide face wash and a 0.1% adapalene gel at night. My doctor said I should see results in 4-6 weeks, and I should go back to see her if I don't see any improvements in my skin. But my acne is getting worse (especially on my forehead). • Is worsening acne all part of the process? • How often/what time of day should I be using the benzoyl peroxide? • Is it bad to wash my facaweigh the benzoyl peroxide and use the apadalene right after? • how much adapalene should I be putting on my affected areas?

    when i went too the dermatologist they gave me stuff that broke me out & a week later cleared me up , i don't know what was in it though it was like 5 years ago isay you stick too it

Acne shouldn't be getting worse when you're on ance medication. But alot of people see redness and irritation when they first start to use a skin medication that has powerful ingredients in it, and the redness can make the acne stand out even more than before. Unless your doctor told you exact directions on how to use them, you should start using the products just once a day to have the least redness while still getting rid of the acne. Right before bed would probably be the best time, because your face produces extra oil while you sleep.

Leave this for 20 minutes and wash it with warm water. * Mix thick curd, turmeric and two drops of oil. Apply on the face. * Crush garlic and take the juice and apply it on the face daily to reduce pimples * Make a paste with sandal wood and turmeric and apply it on the face
