What should I do about a rash around my belly button ring?

• I got my belly button peirced almost 6 months ago (it will be 6 months on the 18 of march) i took care of it the way my peircer told me to, washing with unsencted dial soap, sea salk sokes every other day and not touching it. Well at first it was fine, then i developled a keloid in november. Well I went back to my peircer to see what I should do about that and he said to put vitemin E oil on it which I have been doing, and my nurse told me to put medermia on it, so i have been doing that. Both atleast twice a day, along with the sea salk soaks. Well recently I an out of sea salt so I started using non idolized kosher salt, and soon after i broke out in a red bumpy rash around my belly button. The bumps look like razor burn, and they dont hurt, they itch. Well the bumps turned into patches, so my mom went to the pharmacy to try to find sea salk and told them I have been using the kosher salt and they told me to stop using that. So I stopped using that about 3 or 4 days ago and I'm not seeing much improvment. I got h2ocean today and am going to try using that, hoping to make the rash go away. (at this point im not as worried about the keloid) I have an appiontment soon with my dermitoligist, but i was wondering if there was anything I could do before that to help it. One more detial that I'm not sure if it could have caused it or not but I recently changed the ring to a gold one because I thought that maybe the one they gave me when i got it peirced wasnt real surgical steel and that maybe that was causing the keloid. So i would say that maybe the rash is an allergic reaction but it had already started when I changed it (when i changed it it didnt hurt or anything) But if anyone could help with making the rash go away, or even tips to make the keloid go away, that would be greatly appreciated! and i already tried tea tree oil on the keloid itself and that didnt help any. I did that a while ago. Thank you for reading this!

  Sounds like your over irritating it , Go back to ware you had it done and get some advise .
