How long does itchy sunburn last?
-
Soo about 2 days ago I got sunburned. It's practically healed and there's only a few spots that are still a little sore, but around my chest (a.k.a. breast area) it's itchy BADLY. I know it's a sign of healing, but how long will it take before the itch goes away and "heals". I'm just curious on how long I'll be having this itch, because I have plans on Saturday, and I don't wanna be itching my chest the whole time. Thanks

Answer:
I actually have the same problem right now. It usually takes about two days or so to stop the itching. Apply lotion (preferably non-scented and made to moisturize dry skin) to your skin constantly. Your skin is so dry and itching for moisture that it soaks in the lotion faster than anything. Just keep applying. The more lotion, the better and quicker you will get.
