How can I get rid of these scars?

I've had scars on both my legs since as long as I can remember, how do I get rid of them once and for all?

• I've had scars on both my legs since I was a little boy, I can't even remember a time I didn't have them. I'm 14 right now, and during P.E we have to wear shorts and it constantly gets me conscious and down. People ask me why my legs are like that, I can only answer an I don't know, because I really don't know. I've tried a doctor, but it didn't really work. It's kinda ironic to, my grand daddy whom I never met was a dermatologist and makes me kind of sad I didn't get to see him. I constantly get all depressed when someone asks me. The scars are from insect bites, they never seem to not scar when they bite into my leg. and it also appears a little bit on my upper-arms, but I really don't know why it does that. Please, I'm really desperate I need them out of my skin.... Oh, and another thing, it also might be genetics, my mom had them when she was a kid but they left her when she was 16, but none of my siblings have them, so IDK. I just need the cheapest easiest way to get rid of them now..... I don't wanna cover them up for all time.

  You can get something called MEDERMA at the pharmacy that fades scars
