What is wrong with my skin?

What's wrong with my feet? Skin shedding problem?

• It first started a few weeks ago on my left foot. When I got out of the shower once, I noticed a small white spot on the underside of my big toe, the size of a dime, maybe smaller. It was dead skin, so I just peeled it off no problem. But then, the skin didn't grow back fast enough(or at all, maybe) and the bare spot turned yellowish, and got kind of infected. I peeled that off just now. No bleeding, nothing..Its just simple peeling. This time, the skin underneath looks normal, and if I peel anymore, it hurts..So I assume thats my real skin. This has been around my big toe only.. However, I have the same condition forming on my right foot, again on my big toe, and a tiny bit on the bottom of my foot next to the sole. They aren't circle spots. And they're very small.. However, the rough part of my big toe hurts (the tough hard part). I haven't gone to the doctor yet. I want to show my parents when they wake up. But seriously, what is this? Someone said it was because my skin is dry and is shedding from the cold. Right now its winter..But I live in Arizona.. What the hell is going on? It's only on the bottom of my feet. I don't have this anywhere else. Just my feet, but I don't want it to spread. What is this? It's creeping me out.
