What are these bumps on my hands?

  • I'm studying abroad in Italy (I'm 26, male, from Connecticut) and have been here for a week. Ever since getting here I have had strange bumps on my hands and a whiteish-looking tongue. I don't understand why. On my the top of my left hand and wrist (not on the palm) there are about 100 little bumps, maybe each 1/16" in diameter. They look kind of like little pimples - they're a little pinker than my (Caucasian) skin and some of them hand rounded, white-ish tops, kind of like a miniature version of a face-pimple. They are not painful or itchy. They are also on my right hand and arm but not as severe. They've been here a week and do not seem to be going away. Any idea what these might be? I had sex 3 weeks ago with somebody new and am paranoid of catching HIV, even though our sex was pretty safe and I don't think my partner had HIV (though maybe, who knows). Thanks!
