Will acne treatment peel my skin?

WHAT can i do about my sensitive skin and acne?

  • I have still to find that miracle that works to clean my skin.. I bought the Acnefree kit from walmart that came with cleanser,and BP treatment,well that hasnt done crap. I used the Bp everyday for a while,even with lotion afterwards. try a year. Last 3 months ive used neutrogena advanced solutions 'acne mark fading peel' and not much luck there for scars.. also tried neutrogena's on the spot treatment,again no luck. Then 3 weeks ago i was at mall and bought this stuff from Deja Vu. Natural dead sea minerals from israel,fading facial peal used once a week that is suppost to take out dead skin. Lady that was selling it said my skin looks very brke and thats why the BP and other products dont work. I also get acne from my razor specially above lip and on my cheeks and by sideburns.I even bought a philips norelco (sp?)razor for $80 that is specifically designed for sensitive skin. Also has a cool lotion that it secretes to help skin be less irritated. It seems everytime i get a hot shower,and get out..my acne is more enflamed and i dont know what to do about this either. Also get pimples by sme hair pores,which i think could maybe do with dirt getting stuck or something. I dnt know..its hopeless...open to a miracle solution i dont know about

The "pimples" in your hair follicles are called "folliculitis". There is a prescription medication for them. There is a medication for acne that will clear you up - your regular doctor can prescribe it to you...its called Retin A. Just ask him to write you a script. I use it and it works very well, after nothing else worked. It is inexpensive and has a different medication than anything over the counter. And the cooling gel from your razor might be breaking you out too...If you have to have mosturizer on your face make sure you get oil free. Good luck! -Jess
