How to get rid of sunburn?

How do you get rid of a sunburn on the face fast?

• I have a sunburn on my face and I don't want it there anymore. I have to go to school tomorrow and I was wondering how you can get rid of a sunburn fast (like in a day) or at least reduce the redness by a lot. Any home remedies because I cannot go out to the store and get some. I do have aloe though but that doesnt do much. Also will makeup cover a sunburn? PLEASE HELP! thanks

  Correction Aloe Vera does a hell of a lot of good for your skin and sun burn, but of course it won't happen overnight. What will happen overnight is the redness will start to fade, but still it will take a good 4 or 5 days still that burn is gone, for that is exactly what sunburn is, a burn and damage to the skin. Better to allow the skin to breath, but if its really bothering you, then use some foundation and hen face power on top of that, it will diminish the look greatly for you. If you got none, attack your mothers make up basket in her bedroom. And next time Honey, watch that nasty sun,we all do it at sometime or another, make mistakes and get burned, use a sun screen protecting cream. Real sunstroke is no fun, it actually can be that dangerous as to kill us, I had it once and was very sick indeed.
