Can human flea bites ooze?

How do I get rid of the fleas in my home and the flea bites on my back? HELP!?

  • I have probably 25 flea bites on my back and stomach. My cat had them then the vet gave him a pill to kill them all in a half hou. next we gave him 2 doses of flea and tick prevention about a week apart. he still has them! and we bought a flea killer from the vet to spray around the house, it didnt work bc the cat still has them. help me treatments for the bites on me or the fleas on my cat!!!!!!!!!

    The pill is only effective for a certain amount of time; so any fleas anywhere else in the house were probably not affected by the pill at all. Flea sprays aren't usually effective if not used several times a day for about a week or so after sweeping/vacuuming the floors, couches and other soft surfaces. If your cat is an outdoor cat, it might be a really good idea to get your yard sprayed for fleas and ticks. Also as much as some cats hate it over the counter flea baths really do work if done properly once every 2 weeks.

The pill is Capstar, you can get them at 1 800 Pet Meds, also use Frontline or similar, but please, one dose per month, spray your home with Adams Flea spray, wash everything that you can get into the washer and add Hydrogen peroxide and bleach, freeze all the toys for 24 hours to kill mites, fleas, eggs, allergens, use a flea comb, use Deotomaceous Earth, eatable quality in your pets food and read instructions. I'd have a yard spray also, it's worth it unless you can handle a spray yourself. Put the Deotomaceous Earth on your bed, the mattress and in between, that does work. It is a huge job to de-tox your home of fleas once they get a start, also read about fleas and their cycle and how to deal with them. The flea comb is excellent to keep the pets free of fleas and nests, and is non toxic. I like that. If you do this, it will work. I know because we had to do all this ourselves.
