Can honey cause Cystic acne?

How do I get rid of my zits! Help! Whats the cause of all this? ?

  • So let me go ahead and say that I am a VERY stressful person. I stress about everything! Many people say that stress is the main cause wich it probably is. But I still need to know how to deal with my acne better! I have already used the wave, stridex, proactive, and just regular store brands... All of those either were very harsh on my skin or didn't help at all and made it very greesy. I have tried clean and clear about a week ago. It works decent. I think it's starting to work but I'm not sure. My acne is still here! I might try clearasil... And suggestion? And before u say go to the dermatologist, my parents never have time to take me :( so I just need some opinions first. Also I have tried the honey home remedies... It worked slightly.. And it's a mess to put on! Help please!! :)

  • Answer:

Use toothpaste (make sure your toothpaste has baking soda in it!). just put a dot on each zit. It's an old wives tell, but actually the baking soda in the toothpaste (along with some of the other junk) helps to absorb the oil in the zit. It wont be harsh on your skin, and you get a nice pepperminty smell all night. Obviously it wont help with preventing acne, but it will get rid of the big ones. Otherwise, just try to clean your face through out the day, and eventually you will outgrow it. Also, I don't know why you would ever put Honey on your face to get rid of acne... seems like that would just make it more oily?
