I have fat arms which are soft with stretch marks.

Really bad stretch marks on arms? Help!?

  • I'm a teenage boy and have REALLY bad stretch marks on my arms. They're on the inside of both of my arms, from my armpits all the way past the inside of my elbows. It's gotten to the point where I can't even wear t-shirts AT ALL because the stretch marks show and it's just embarrassing. What makes it worse is that it's almost spring and I can't just wear long sleeve shirts all the time if it's warm out. Also, I've had a lot of growth spurts and have gained weight in my teen years (also not substantially), which is when the stretch marks showed up. I am beginning to work out and diet, but i know that isn't enough to get rid of the stretch marks. They are on other parts on my body too (abdomen, legs, etc) but the arms are my biggest problem now. So what are the best treatment options? Laser? Chemical peel? Anything else? How long would it take and what would the treatment cost?

  • Answer:

Stretch marks can be present regardless of age and even size. It doesn't mean that when your slim and thin the probably you won't have marks. It is visibly present when you happen to lose/gain weight abruptly. It's been due to some tissue inside your body that comes real visible on your skin. In order to get rid of this it might be good for you to constantly apply oil on your body or on the most itchy site.
