A&D ointment works, especially if it has zinc in it. However it will probably take several hours to work, and it does have a slight odor, but nothing horrible.

First take you a hot shower as hot as you can stand it. That will help pull the heat out. Then use either lotion with aloe or cocoa butter. I know you don't want to smell bad but you can also use white vinegar but your date is tomorrow so if you use it now and before your date shower again you will be fine.

Milk is the best remedy for any kind of burns. Applying a cloth dipped in milk on the sunburn will provide relief. Good home remedy for sunburn. Check out http://solutionsforsunburn.blogspot.com/ for more details.

coco butter smells good! you can always try a foundation, I wouldnt suggest it for everytime you burn as it would probably dry it out more, but for one night it wouldn't hurt. Even foundation with moisturizer in it would be good. It should take the burnt tone down.

Whatever you do don't put makeup on it! It makes it blister horribly!
