What is a good way to get rid of acne scars?

  • I have had acne for about 4 years and iam a sophemore. In high school me and my mom thought it had to do with something in the water because when we moved to north dakota that's when I started getting acne and when ever I go visit oregon (my old home) my acne goes away completely well I have a problem at picking at my pimples and so I got scars my acne is all gone now but I have huge purple scars from acne on my face I wear cover up but you can still tell because of the purple coloring is there anyway to make them fade and get rid of them compleatly so I can have that clear skin result? ( by the way I do are a dermatologist so don't tell me to go see one)

    Either a Photo-facial/Intense Pulsed Light treatment which costs alot of money, but should work wonders... or; Rosehip oil (it's like a high potency vitamin C cream!). Go to your local pharmacy and ask them if they sell it. It's the best thing you can buy, it's cheap and it works really well. :)

You either need a special treatment from a place like Sleek MedSpa, which can be quite expensive (about $2000.00). You can also ask your dermatologist for a bleaching cream.

I recently got a split lip and had to have stitches, I didnt really bother with putting anything on it but they really recommended E45 cream, Sudocream or Lanolin to make my scar less visible and know someone who had a chest operation, used a combination of these and now has only a very slight scar, hope that helps

use a wet down cloth with warm water and bar soap and rub it on had a pimple last night work awesome

Try rubbing olive oil on the effected areas of your face, I've heard it works wonders or you could try drinking lemon juice which I've also heard good things about. There's also bio oil which I used for scars I got in an accident and they have faded, so I'm sure they would work on acne scars. I hope if you try any of these methods they work wonders on your skin!
