Weird itchy skin rash thing?

Help! i have this skin rash/hive thing on my arm, what do i do?!):?

• I have never gotten this before, its like.. my arm is fair skinned and then there is this spotted rash, its on both of my arms, and on my thighs..it doesn't really itch, but I'm so grossed out I'm scratching my skin. What should I do?!): should I go out and get a certain medicine? Or..... please HELP.

  if you go to dermatologist first thing thay say is stop using soaps with dyes and chemicals in them. eleminate one thing at a time so you will know what the problem is. take benadrly so you dont itch, because if you scratch you could get a secondary infection and that might be worse!! hard to say what this might be with out further description of rash. is it like blisters? acne? clear or pus filled? if you can see a doctor show him/her, they might want to take a skin culture or draw blood. it gsounds like folliculitis, which is just the hair follicule becoming plugged by oil basically, in which case exfoliation with something like apricot scrub could help.
