Industrial Piercing, Now have a Lump?
-
Ok. I just got my Industrial pierced on Saturday (June 18th). It's not Thursday (June 23rd). I have been cleaning the piercing as directed. I purchased a bottle of h2Ocean, cleaning it 3 to 4 times a day. 1 of those times being after I've showered. I did experience some throbbing pain on Monday and until about Wednesday. But I just took advil to help with the pain. Here is where I am concerned. This morning I happen to feel a lump, or bump...whatever you want to call it. It's not on the piercing itself or the ear. It's on the back of my head. Just slightly below my ear. I can't see what it looks like. It just feels like fluid built up. There is no tenderness. Not even my piercing hurts. Sooo I'm a little confused. I always here that people have bumps on the actually piercing or somewhere on the ear...but I've never heard of it being some where other than the piercing. I'm hoping it's nothing serious. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. Keep in mind that I will go back to the piercing shop if it get worse. Any feedback would be helpful :) Thankssss!

Answer:
Honestly, it's probably just a large pimple. It's summer, so your hairline sweats more, and gets clogged. Try using a different shampoo (a purifying one would be best) that will unclog pores and keep it from happening again.
