How can i get rid of blister fast?

How can i get rid of this nasty fever blister?

  • ok, so 2 days ago i had a terrible headache and i was coughing a lot. it was really bad but then later that night it was better. yesterday i was better but i'm still coughing a little. this morning i woke up with a HUGE fever blister. it goes from the opening of my right lip to the tip top of the lip. there is a big bump and some nasty little bumps. it's so bad. i'm at my bf's and he didn' notice it yet because he is at work, but is there anything i can do to make it go down to make it less visible? i don't know if it can be gone in a day.... i doubt it, but if you know any remidies please tell me. i put some toothpaste on it and it tingled a little but i don't know if that'll work. i also rubbed some ice on my lip. idk can someone help me? i have no blistex or abrevaand i'm broke.

thats a normal thing that happens after some people get a cold... its called a cold sore... its caused by a virus thats very similar to the herpes virus so tell your boyfriend about it! it can spread to him... which isnt good... the sore will go away soon enough, just wait..

first,,,it's a cold sore...aka herpes type 1. you can get rid of it by buying some abreva (kind of expensive..like $15) and it works better than anything alse i have tried...or you can get some campho phenique..it's cheaper. i have had cold sores my whole life. they are brought on by being sick or even stress. avoid eating anything that contains alot of salt on it...it will burn the sore. also, avoid kissing your bf...cold sore are contageous especially when they are still blisters and aren't yet scabbed over. i usually break mine and take a cotton ball and apply some alcohol to dry it up and then i apply the ointment....this does burn a little and some people might recommend not using alcohol because of it, but i have found it speeds up the process. don't put toothpaste on it....and since you don't have anything to put on it....either dry it up with some alcohol and apply neosporin if you have it...or just apply some kind of triple antibiotic ointment....if you can't get ahold of any...just let it go...and if the blisters pop..dry it up with a paper towel or something...it will eventually go away. don't put any bandages on it or anything...let it air out..and good luck!
