Cure for cold sores?

  • my cold sore was super small this morning and i put ice on it immediatley but it only got bigger as the day went on. ive tried basicly everything from abreva to the moon. help. plus i hav a big speech i hav to giv tomorro so i need something that will at least make it go down and almost not show at all. i get these things like once a month.

Cold sores are part of the herpes family, so once you have them, you have them, and you can't prevent oubreaks. But I've heard that stuff Abreva (at the drugstore) is the best thing out there. It's not cheap but a small tube will last a long time. Maybe pick up some concealer in the makeup section, too. If you're a guy, don't worry, guys use coverup, too.
