Do i have deviated septum?

How can I correct my deviated nasal septum?

  • I went to the doctor and told him I had trouble breathing out of one of my nostrils. I knew my nasal septum was deviated, but I wanted to wait until he told me. Anyway, I visited the doctor for 3 months and he just gave me nasonex. Finally, I wasked since he didnt, and he said that I dont need a septoplasty. He explained that that is not what is obstructing my airflow, however, my nasal septum is PHYSICALLY deviated. I want this corrected. What should I do?

  • Answer:

rhinoplasty... or have someone step on your face really hard. no im jk. lol. but seriously your best bet is rhinoplasty

i have a deviated septum and when it gets clogged up i just use Nasonex that works real good

You have a right to a 2nd opinion, and a 3rd opinion. Physicians don't mind and would prefer patients not question but seek other input - you might be surprised. Ask your friends and family for "ENT" surgeons names, and go see a couple. Good luck - are you certain you want your septum corrected? Think about it.
