Why does it hurt to breathe :(?

it has been goin on for a few months but when i breath its a lil faster then most ppl i have noticed and it hurts when i breathe in a lil deeper and i have to cough cuz it hurts. also im always tired and i always feel like i just wanna sleep. i dont know if my breathing and tiredness is related tho so idk. the dr has given me 3 diff kinds of med and taken my blood everytime i go there and still nothing. plz help me if u have any ideas

Obviously you have reduced lung function. The question is why. If you are a smoker that's probably the root problem. What kind of pills has your doctor given you? That would be a big clue to what's going on. Reduced tidal volume (the fancy term for how much air you can move in and out with one breath) can be caused by a lot of things. Talk to your doctor. They usually answer direct questions.
