Infrequent Minor Chest Discomfort?

Weird chest discomfort for over a month and a half - any ideas what it could be?

  • I'll try to put this as simply as possible. For the past two months i have been to the emergency room (when it first started - thought it was something serious - heart related), gotten chest x-rays around that time, been to the doctor many times, cardiologist a week ago - thought it could not be heart related -said i was healthy, have gotten rib x-rays and even an x-ray for my spine and they have all came out looking good. Now my question is, what is it my doctor could be missing? When he pinches my bones around the left side of my chest there seems to be some pain there. Now I wonder - why is this still going on? It also bugs me cause my heartbeat feels more vivid sometimes and anytime it seems a little high it bugs me out a little. Its hard to explain the feeling because it is on and off, and sort of always different but it just feels like there is a discomfort in the middle of my chest which makes my heartbeat feel a little more vivid sometimes and maybe my breathing feels a little more restrained. Like i said i really dont know how to explain it though. Also it is uncomfortable to lift up my left arm, for example i cant even put it straight in the air or i feel like it will intensify my heartbeat but like i said ive gotten EKG's, have been t my doctor and a cardiologist they all think it is muscle related but not heart related. It also does sort of feel like there is a pinching in middle of my chest but the thing is it is very consistant and like right now for example it is a consistant discomfort and it makes my breathing feel a little weird. What helps the most really is keeping my mind active and busy. It does cause me a deal of anxiety though. Would really love to figure this out soon. Could there be something my doctors missing. Maybe i should have asked about heart rhythym or would an EKG pick up on that? Also my doctor noted the only thing we haven't checked is with a lung specialist. Does anybody have any idea on what this could be? Thank you.

Ok I had a similar issue once....it ended up being the chair I was using everyday at work. I was sent to do so many scans and tests but it was the way I leant on my chair at my desk which caused the constant ache in my left chest. Are u doing something similar?
