Look for one with a Hepa filter. Also one that has a filter that you can vacuum or hand wash clean, is cheaper than one that you have to buy new filters. Consider how loud you can stand as well. There are a bunch of review and retail sites that you can narrow down your search. Consider also a manufacturer that seems like it'll be around awhile, in case you need replacement parts, or servicing. A cheap model that breaks alot and has poor support is a bad choice.
