Did i damage my vocal chords?

a while ago i tried lifting this really heavy object. i pulled my neck muscles alot and ever since that day vocal chords area on my neck feel a little different. its normal most of the time, but ive noticed that if i yell or try to sing loudly i will get tired much faster or will feel uncomfortable. before this i could yell as much as i wanted and never felt tired or disconfort. any ideas?

i doubt you can feel your vocal chords, however the muscles that are connect may have been damaged, were you yelling when this extreme weight was lifted? there might be residual damage, consult an ear nose and throat physician, there are tests that might tell if damage is done.
