ALWAYS HAVE YOUR RESCUE INHALER WITH YOU, i always do but i barely have attacks cus my prevent inhalers but yeah get a rescue one as soon as possible, and tell them to tell ur coach who will call 911.

ok, if you have only your preventative inhaler, i'd instruct them to AT LEAST TRY to call 000. and while they do that its your job to attempt to pull yourself together.... you'll wonna try to use the preventative anyway... if your not too bad it may help. try to maintain a steady breathing pase, if you have a friend with you get them to sit with you (leaning forward slightly usualy helps) then try and breath at the same rate as them.. most likely it will hert and it will be very difficult but you've gotta tell yourself it'll pass... mean wile i'd have my friend still trying to call tripple zero. if it truley dusn't pass so bad you fall unconsiouse from lack of oxigen the friend that was working on breathing with you (asuming there is two) should start DR. ABCD emediatly. D = danger (you can skip this step) R = response. (check for any responce from you, talk to you try and get your attention/ reaction) (spend as little time on DR as possible A = airways. (they need to check that there if nothing in your mouth or throught... also making shore you havent swallowed your tong. (if you have they will need to reach down your throught and pull it up. then they will need to tilt your head back... this positions your neck in a sertaint way so that you can't swollow your toung again and your airways as as clear as possible. B = breathing (though unlikely they need to check to see if your breathing, they'll need to look to see if your chest if rising or if they can feel your breath. if you are they will role you over into the recovery position - on your side with the free sholder pushed back slightly - and your arms bottem one out straight the other across your chest. the uper leg will be bent in the proces to stop you from roling over further. http://www.torbay.gov.uk/vi/recovery-position.gif if your not breathing they'll move to the next step C = CPR or compresions (this is where they compress your chest. placing both hands together and using only the ball of there palm to push down -rufly between your brests to your left a little. they will need to comprese to a third of your chest. if there is two people one person compreses 5 times then the other person breaths into you once and 5 and 1 continuesly not stoping until you eather breath again or an ambulence arrives. if there is only one australian first aid says that you comprease 30 times then brath 1 and 30 and 1 until and ambulance arrives. D = if they still do not breath the ambulance will arive with a difibulater. (you dont need to know that.) what i suggest is that you consult a nurse with your question cose they can give you the information.. what i've suplyed may be inacuret or outdated. and also that you get your self a releaver puffer and carry that everyware. and if you dont then refrain from exersize. cose asthma attacks are NO FUN! best of luck.

Why wouldn't you have your short acting rescue inhaler with you? Your friends should call 911 immediately. You should ALWAYS have your rescue inhaler on your person. ALWAYS. I don't understand why you don't have a rescue inhaler.... every asthmatic should have one...
