What is chronic sinusitis?

What is sinusitis? how do u get it? and what are the symptoms?

  • Answer:

In the facial bones on each side of the nose and also above each eye are cavities. Invading micro-organisms can invade these "pockets" and cause an infection. Symtoms-yellow or green nasal discharge(snot). Loose, moist, crackling cough due to post nasal drip. Often intense pain that pulses with each beat of your heart. My experience teaches me a trip to the Doctor is often, but not always necessary. If you cant afford one there are alternative remidies that may help mild cases. Drink an andequate amount water daily. this should help thin secretions. I have had great success with olive leaf extract as a preventative. I take it every day. You can find it at any health food store. I use ibuprophen and sudaphed for acute sinusitis.
