Can you develop asthma from bronchitis?
-
I've been with a cold since mid January it comes and goes like nothing. Yes, I would take over the counter medicine until I got bronchitis towards the end of February. I went to the doctor, he gave me medicine for one week I started feeling good when again I felt the symptoms. The doctor gave me stronger medicine and I felt fine the following day but the doctor told me to finish the medicine, which I did. The thing is I can barely breathe, I go throughout the day grasping for air. I don't know if it's the bronchitis that returned yet again or did I develop some kind of asthma due to the bronchitis?

Answer:
it could be a side effect to the medication you were on..maybe call your doctor or pharmacist right away.
