    yes ...considering your age mr.purushottam i think u r suffering with allergies... before going bed better clean off the nose fron hard crusts formed in side nostrils ..since these crusts obstruct your normal respiration they will produce that reverbrating sounds which echoes in nostril space giving a loud disturbance to your care taker... go for nasal spray before bed ... check out if u ve got any deviatedd nasal septum ... get it corrected it from E.N.T SURGEON. THANK U

.dont hurry to bed after meals.take time. .if overweight or alcoholic reduce it or avoid before bed. .have some walking or mild exercises regularly. . frequent cold or cough? goto doctor. .mild snoring common in old age. if severe or disturbing ur sleep much, goto a doc. .pranayam may help. please learn from expert, not from TV.

let some other dude hold your nose when you trying to sleep, it works. I have done it to my grandma before, works for her.
