Swine flu symptoms and what to do about them?
-
I think im getting swine flu...i got a normal flu shot about a month ago and my schools had alot of kid out for swine flu but THE IDIOTS come back in as soon as THEY feel better. They dont realize that they're getting other people sick because they're still contagious. So far i feel sinus pressure and have a real weezy cough thats pretty bad sounding. I was in contact with swine flu all week probably and I hope I dont have it. What are the main symptoms? Is there a way to stop it from progressing? If not what should I do to make it go as smoothly as possible? - Thanks Joe

Answer:
yes, it is going around like fire and it helps to follow these simple steps to prevent getting the swine flu/H1N1 virus. Even though you are all stuffed up with sinus pressure and coughing these can help you with more comfort plus you can also take a decongestant or 2 Tylenol every 4 to 6 hours. A doctor who is head of the Nuclear Medicine Department and also is a Specialist of Thyroid conditions suggested doing these simple and easy steps everyday to prevent the H1N1/Swine flu, He says he believes this will act in the same way as having the vaccine. Gargling twice a day with warm salt water. Cleanse your nasal passages at least once a day with warm salt water solution and you can use Q-tips dipped into the solution if you don't have a squirt bulb. These two steps will prevent proliferation of virus entering your only portals of entry your nose, mouth and throat. Wash your hands very frequently and keep them clean. Do not touch your face except only to feed yourself. Drink as much warm water as you possibly can and a lot of other fluids to act in the same way as Gargling except in the reverse direction to wash and cleanse your mouth and to pass through the throat and into the stomach where any bacteria washed off cannot survive and cannot proliferate and cannot do you any further harm. Take Vitamin C supplements with Zinc to insure faster absorption into your body and also eat a lot of Vitamin C enriched foods to help build and boost your immunity system for more protection. I've been doing these steps everyday and really think it works great and feel quite well. It is just a great habit and a good one to do all the time for maximum protection. Hope some of this has helped you too. Good Luck.

you have no control over the progression. you can alleviate the symptoms by resting, hydrating(hot teas!), eating what you can handle, and using Dayquil for symptomatic relief. my 5 year old grandson had it. he just chilled on the couch for a few days watching tv.
