Is my cut infected? or is it just part of the healing stage?
-
I got a cut five days ago. The cut happened in 3 different areas, 2 small cut and 1 long cut. I don't think the cut is too big. The small cut has grown that brown hard stuff that helps close the wound and heal(don't know what it's called, but if you know i wouldn't mind finding out. The big cut seems to be growning the brown stuff, but where the cut is the biggest, it has grown some yellow stuff. Is this yellow stuff a stage before it turns brown? Or is it an infection? Sorry for the lack of vocabulary. My medical knowledge is extremely limited

Answer:
Uhm, It sounds like that the yellow stuff is just the beginning of a scab. Mhm, so i would put some Neosporin and a band-aid on it for a few days and just let it heal.
