Whats the difference between a cold/flu and swine flu?

Is this a flu, because i think it is? and swine flu vs regular flu?

  • i have a high fever like 101,have pain in my back,a headache, colored sputum with occasional blood and i feel weak and dizzy whats the difference or how can you tell apart swine flu from a regular flu,how long does each last and how do symptoms differ

  • Answer:

I just saw on the news that 98 % of the flu going around is swine flu. I never ran fever with swine flu but my kids ran high fevers. They had dizziness, coughing, spitting up phlem, and being tired. It has the same symptoms as the normal flu. I made sure we all drank enough orange juice and took vitamin C and my kids got over it quick. It took me longer because I am run down.

Other answers

The only large difference between swine flu and the common flu is diarrhea and vomiting. Most adults don't experience those symptoms with the regular flu (if they do, it's probably food poisoning and not the flu). All the other symptoms are the same. Don't get worked up if you have h1n1, your body will fight it just like it fights the normal flu. It just takes time, rest and care.
