What is the latest research on AIDS?

I am doing a research paper on Gay Liberation era and the AIDS epidemic in the 1970-80s...?

In my paper I am stating (arguing) the reasons for why I don't think it's coincidental that AIDS occurred during the time of the Gay Liberation era So far I have facts about the gay men and their lifestyles during that era, for example promiscuity and numerous sex partners, unsafe sex, carefreeness, and bathhouses, etc. are there any sources I could refer to like certain books or articles or sites, even videos? On Gay Liberation and AIDS? Note I am NOT gay bashing. So no one even think about it!! It's my research paper on AIDS. Just stating my observations on HISTORY. Please and thank you!
