What's the best medicine for diarrhea?

I have severe diarrhea and a fever, but nothing else is wrong other then fatigue?

• Not to sound discusting but this is just whats happening. I have a plane that is supposed to take off in six hours for a vacation but today instead of getting ready I woke up to having a very bad case of diarrhea, I did not sleep well last night, I was waking up every two hours to run to the bathroom. I kept sleeping, until six PM. I tried eating but it went right through, it is horrible. IT has almost been 24 hours, and I am still sick with the same symptoms, I am weak and starved. I had a fever of 102.00 earlier but that went down fast, after medicine.. Do I have the flu, or is it food poisoning ? I had to cancel my flight, and I am so sad. What can I eat to make my stomach be okay, is this doctor worthy ? I have bad health insurance and can not afford to go unless I need to please help thank you

  Sounds like your coming down with the stomach flu. It's going to last five to ten days. This is before you feel real well again. Get some Maalox, it won't constipate you like some others. Try eating toast and warm tea. Drink lot's of fluids so you don't dehydrate. Keep warm, rest. If this lasts more then a few days call your doctor.
