What is glandular cystitis?

Feeling like I have Cystitis all the time?

  • I went to the doctor about 2-3 months ago because I had cystitis. I got some antibiotics and it cleared up. A week after it flared up again and now it feels like I have mild cystitis, it doesn't really burn/sting when I pee except for when I first get up in the morning usually. The other symptoms I have is I feel like I need to urinate as soon as I put my trousers back on! Its getting stupid now because I'll go before bed and then 5 Min's later go because I feel like I have to go. The feeling of needing to go isn't like I'm going to pee myself but like I need to go in the next few Min's. I've made a doctors appointment for next week, but i just wanted to see if anyone else had any idea of what it could be. I don't think its owt too serious because when I went last she felt my stomach and said it was just cystitis. My sister said it just sounds like a kidney infection. Any idea will help thanks. x

  • Answer:

There is a condition called interstitial Cystitis. Which in many ways acts like an infection but it is when your bladder wall is very thin. You might look it up on the Internet. There are medications and diet changes to manage the disease. You might need to drink more water and stay away from caffeine drinks. Caffeine can increase your urge to urination.
