How to get rid of warts?

  • I have warts and would like them to go. They are embarassing and I do get them often. When I think they have gone they come back and I'm jot sure why? I've had some warts for years now and some only for weeks? Could I boost my immune system to prevent me getting them in the future....? Please help and answer. I have tried to get rid of them in the past and it has been really painful!:( please help?!

    This depends on what kind of warts they are and where on your body they are. Warts are caused by a virus. I had Planters Warts on the bottoms of my feet when I was younger. My doctor told me to use 'corn remover' pads on them and then to gently scrape the dead tissue off with a scalpel that he gave to me. this process did not work for me as the warts were much too numerous, so he told me to stay barefoot as much as possible for the summer and I would have surgery to remove them in the fall. i spent that summer at the beach, walking on hot hot sand and swimming in salt water, and the warts cleared up and were gone for good. Talk to your doctor about them. there may be an OTC medication that he would recommend, or he may decide to freeze them off. Be well.
