Whats the difference between the swine flu (H1N1) and a regular flu?

Answer:
Nothing. Except for H1N1 is caused by a different bacteria. I really don't know why the swine flu is getting SO much media attention, because it's NO different from the regular flu. I myself had the swine flu just a few weeks ago, and it's no different. There is however a large controversy over the H1N1 vaccine. My mom is not allowing herself, me, and little brothers get the vaccine because it is new and wasn't tested properly. She is afraid that there could be some side affect down the road that this vaccine could have influenced. She said maybe in the future we could get it, but only once it undergoes proper testing. Hope this answers your question. Happy Thanksgiving :)
