Is it normal that my stomach is swollen?

Stomach still not feeling well after stomach virus! Normal?

  • I got a stomach bug, vomited only twice Monday (it's Saturday now) and my appetite hasn't really come back. But I CAN eat... only toast, saltines and soup. Right now I'm trying to eat homemade pizza, which is just the dough with a light sauce and a bit of cheese-- nothing crazy! Just something else. I guess I'm trying to say my stomach does NOT feel even 80% back to normal and I feel like I wasn't even vomiting that much and I figure I should be better now. Is this normal? My stool is definitely going back to normal as of today though so I take that as a good sign. I had a bananna this morning and I felt my stomach VERY acidic... finally took a mylanta and it did help. I just hate feeling sick... is this normal though?

yes! it's normal because you're stomach is very sensitive! don't worry!

A virus can remain in your body for a few weeks so you are probably still feeling the after effects of your bug. If you get and reflux or abdo pain that is persistant then see your doctor.

Try some ginger. Powdered or fresh make a tea I would eat just bland things no bananas or tomato based. Give your stomach time to heal.

It is normal DONT EAT BANANAS heres a great link

its normal to still be hurting for a few days, if it progresses for more than a week consult a dovtor
