My throat hurts and it feels hot?

Hurts to swallow. Feels like Something's lodged in my throat. Flu?

  • I have had flu symptoms a lot, recently. Possible H1N1, because I know a few people who have it and I've had some similar symptoms. Now what's really bad, though is that I have this slight pain in my throat. It feels like I swallowed too much and it hurts quite a bit, but I don't think there's anything lodged in my throat. I have some awesome samosas sitting here and I'd really like to eat some solids, but should I be worried about this? Should I see a doctor? Also, a pain in the back of the roof of my mouth.

    It definitely could be H1N1. I learned the hard way(i got H1N1) that you do get soar throats when you get H1N1, plus it is in the back of the roof of your mouth. I suggest you see a doctor and ask to take the "Influenza test" If your doctor says you have type A Influenza that means its H1N1, Type B is just the Flu, and i doubt you will get type C ( Very Rare). Your doctor still could test you and end up with negative results but in that case it could be a virus or possibly strep throat. If it is Flu or H1N1 Make sure you don't use TamiFlu the medicine

I'm not completely sure what it is but you may just have a sore throat or you may have something stuck in your throat. Whatever it is you need to see the doctor.

Yes, go see a doctor. Is there a white spot at the back of your throat? I had the same problem and they said it was a minor case of tonsillitis, check with them to see if it's major or not.
