  • My son has fever today but i di not see any running nose or cough may be h has sore throut . no any other symptom what you think i need to go for his test for tommorw or wai

  • Answer:

I would wait to see if he has trouble breathing. It doesn't sound like he has swine flu. If he's under 6 then it would be worth testing. But it couldn't hurt to test for it.

Tamiflu by CDC recommends children 4 and under and over 65 or others with Chronic Medical problems. If you child is otherwise healthy there is nothing your doctor can do but tell you motrin or tylenol and lots of fluids. Keep your kid at home and hydrated. If he doesn't have the Flu after you've spent 2 hours in the doctors office he will get it then!

I think vomiting is another sign of swine flu, which your son do not have.Just give him some Tylenol or any fever reducing drugs to reduce his fever

They don't test much because it's to dangerous for the doctorsincase you sneeze but if it looks like h1n1 to the doctor they will give you a prescription for tamiflu. If you think he might have it just take him to the doctor and don't wait until he has trouble breathing! That could be to late. Good luck.

Not yet. See how he feels Tomorrow. If he feels worse & has a Cough & stuff, you might as well just keep him Home anyway- because that'll mean he DOES have the Flu & there's nothing anyone can do about it- but keep him warm, rested & quiet...
