Constant nausea and loss of appetite. Help?

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite?

  • Since September I have been expiercing severe nausea and vomiting (just recently tore my chest wall heaving so hard) and no appetite. I have been to the doctor at least 5 times for this. I have had blood work done and all comes back negative or normal. I have been checked all those times for pregnancy so I know that is not it. I have endometrios and thought that was causing the problem but my ob/gyn said that it is highly unlikely. It tends to come and go in waves and sometimes can only be stopped with IV fluids and a nausea injection. If anyone has any idea what could be causing my symptoms please share your thoughts. This is really begining to take a toll on me and would love to get back to my life. I also am having a hard time sleeping idk if that is related or not

    go to another ob /gyn my friend had endometriosis went thru battery of tests had severe pain that doubled her over nausea vomiting finally dr did hysterectomy when dr done with surgery told my friend never saw anything like it because it was so bad her veins had to be reconstructed around her hips because of the endometriosis she had before the hysterectomy an ablasion a d/c to name a few

I had almost the same thing and ended up in the hospital ER, ICU and a week stay due to the fact that I got dehydrated over the Labor Day weekend and didn't even recognize it. Make sure to have your electrolytes and your SODIUM levels checked. I couldn't believe the problems having low on both of those caused the symptoms they did, but they were there too. If you are not getting answers from the doctors you have now, try switching to another doctor or asking for a referral to a specialist like an Endocrinologist who works at finding these things out. Glad I had one in the hospital; saved my life.
