Why is my ear itchy and swollen all of a sudden?

Is my ear infected? It's very itchy and swollen.?

  • So I got 2 cartilage piercings a couple of months ago. About a week ago it started to itch so i began to scratch it. When my mother saw the scratch marks she immediately told me to take them out. After i took them both out it was scarred and had some open scratch wounds. I began to clean it very often and the wounds healed. but now my ear is very itchy, red, and very puffy and swollen. What should i do? Is my ear infected?

    u might be allergic or something like that. u have to see a doctor so he/she can do the necessary things needed for that to be cured. good luck

well i would say that they are infected this has happened to me before and you just cant touch them or bother them i sucked it p and waited it out but you can go to the doctors.

remove the piercing and wash the wound well with warm soapy water. see your doctor for antibiotics.
